The fixtures for the fourth edition of the SA20 are out! Durban's Super Giants will square off against defending champions MI Cape Town in the opening game of the SA20 2025-26 season at the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town on December 26.
The Super Giants will later host MI Cape Town in their first home match at the Kingsmead Cricket Ground in Durban on December 28.
As per the SA20 2025-26 schedule, the SA20 2024 finalists will next face Joburg Super Kings, Pretoria Capitals, Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Paarl Royals in back-to-back home and away fixtures.
The fourth edition of the SA20 will follow the same format as the previous editions with as many as six teams competing in a total of 34 T20s.
Each team will play the other five sides twice in a double round-robin format. The top four teams in the standings after all the league matches will qualify for the SA20 2025-26 Playoffs.
The top two teams in the standings will lock horns in the Qualifier 1, scheduled to be played on January 21 for a place in the SA20 2025-26 final to be held on January 25.
The third and fourth-placed teams will face each other in the Eliminator to be held on January 22 to seal a spot in Qualifier 2.
The winner of the Eliminator will take on the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2, scheduled to take place on January 23 for the other spot in the SA20 2025-26 final.
The venues for the Playoffs and the Final will be confirmed on a later date.
