Durban’s Super Giants will be supported by Airlink, South Africa’s premier independent airline, during the upcoming Betway SA20, which will be contested across the country over four weeks in January and February 2024.

Airlink is the team’s official carrier for the tournament and will fly the squad and support staff between their matches taking place in Durban, Cape Town, Paarl, Johannesburg, Centurion and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

“The SA20 is a fantastic opportunity for Durban’s Super Giants to test their mettle against their rival franchises, with matches being played at some of the world’s most iconic cricketing venues,” said Airlink CEO and Managing Director, Rodger Foster.

“It’s also a fine time for Airlink to bowl over cricket fans and visitors with our great customer service, connections, and convenient flights to some of the other hit-for-six attractions we fly to,” added Mr Foster.

“We are very excited to partner with Airlink for the upcoming season of the Betway SA20 league. Travel is a major factor due to the home-and-away format of the SA20, and our strategic partnership with Airlink is key to a successful campaign. We look forward to a long-term partnership with them,” said RPSG Sports CEO, Col. Vinod Bisht.

The tournament will see Durban’s Super Giants compete for glory in a summer series of intense T20 matches that will feature some of the world’s most beguiling bowlers, fleet-of-foot fielders and swashbuckling batsmen taking each other on.

Durban's Super Giants begin their Betway SA20 campaign with a home match against MI Cape Town on 11 January 2024.
